About the role

CoreData Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of a legacy data platform to a modern cloud-native architecture. The project focuses on automating infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability throughout the transition.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Configure and optimize AWS services for performance and cost.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
