Senior DevOps Engineer Needed for Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

LumenWorks is launching a greenfield SaaS platform with a fully remote team. We need a DevOps Engineer to shape the infrastructure from scratch, ensuring scalability, security, and rapid delivery. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and QA to embed best‑practice automation throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud architecture for the new product
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for production readiness
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Collaborate on security hardening and cost‑optimization strategies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Infrastructure as code expertise (Terraform preferred)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless technologies
• Knowledge of GitOps workflows
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
