About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and tune containerized pipelines that integrate automated tests into our CI/CD flow.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision Kubernetes clusters for test environments
• Containerize existing test suites with Docker and helm charts
• Implement GitOps workflows to trigger automated regression suites on code changes
• Monitor resource usage and optimize scaling for cost‑effective test runs
• Collaborate with QA leads to align test coverage with release criteria

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Ability to write Helm charts and manage cluster lifecycle

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana
• Knowledge of security best practices for container workloads
