About the role

Ridgeline Software is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a GraphQL API Developer who can redesign core endpoints, tighten data fetching, and ensure seamless integration with existing front‑end layers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and refactor existing GraphQL schemas for speed and stability
• Implement caching strategies and batch loading to reduce latency
• Collaborate with React front‑end engineers to align query patterns
• Write comprehensive tests and monitoring hooks for production health
• Document API changes and migration guides for internal teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building and optimizing GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency with NodeJS runtime and ecosystem
• Solid understanding of REST API concepts and integration
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Server or similar GraphQL frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
• Background in scaling services on cloud platforms
