About the role

Pinecrest Systems is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and refine the API layer that powers our upcoming micro‑services ecosystem. You will work closely with DevOps and product teams to embed automated testing, schema validation, and deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop performant GraphQL schemas and resolvers in NodeJS.
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with existing REST APIs and data sources.
• Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools, ensuring automated linting, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate on platform automation scripts to streamline environment provisioning.
• Write clear documentation and contribute to API versioning strategy.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL services with NodeJS.
• Proficiency in React for client‑side query handling.
• Deep understanding of REST API concepts and integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Experience in performance tuning of GraphQL queries.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for API contracts.
