About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and validate security controls across microservice components. The work will focus on threat modeling, secure configuration, and automated testing within a CI/CD pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Integrate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms using Spring Security.
• Refactor existing microservices for least‑privilege access and secure communication.
• Develop automated security tests and static analysis rules.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security checks into deployment pipelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (5+ years).
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservice architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with security frameworks, OAuth2, JWT, and TLS.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization.

Nice to have

• Experience with OWASP testing tools.
• Knowledge of IaC security best practices.
• Previous work on compliance (PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001).
