About the role

LumenWorks is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned Java Developer to reinforce authentication, encryption, and threat detection across microservice layers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Spring Boot services for security gaps
• Implement robust authentication and authorization using OAuth2/JWT
• Integrate security libraries and perform code hardening
• Write automated security tests and assist CI pipelines
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Java development experience
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservice architecture
• Hands‑on experience with security frameworks and cloud environments
• Ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes security
• Knowledge of CI/CD security tooling
