Senior Microservices Architect Needed for Enterprise Platform Modernization

About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. As the Microservices Architect you will design a zero‑downtime migration path, define service boundaries, and guide the team through containerization and orchestration.

Key responsibilities

• Map existing monolith components to independent microservices
• Design API contracts and versioning strategy for seamless cut‑over
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that support blue‑green and canary releases
• Set up monitoring, tracing, and alerting for production readiness
• Mentor developers on Docker, Kubernetes, and best‑practice patterns

Must-have skills

• Proven experience architecting microservice ecosystems
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong Java development background
• Familiarity with zero‑downtime deployment techniques

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures
• Background in legacy system refactoring
