About the role
CoreData Systems is enhancing a B2B SaaS product with a new multi-tenant feature set. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune data isolation and scaling strategies for multiple clients sharing the same platform.
Key responsibilities
- Architect sharded collections and tenant‑specific indexes for optimal performance
- Implement robust access controls and data partitioning mechanisms
- Write aggregation pipelines that respect tenant boundaries
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB changes into existing services
- Monitor and troubleshoot replication lag, latency spikes, and storage growth
Must-have skills
- 5+ years managing production MongoDB clusters
- Deep knowledge of sharding, replica sets, and Atlas best practices
- Experience with multi‑tenant data models and security
- Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS for scripting and automation
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
- Exposure to cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) MongoDB services
