Senior NLP Engineer – End-to-End Model Deployment

About the role

CoreData Systems is building a unified data flow engine called "SyncPulse" to bridge its billing platform, CRM, and internal service APIs. As an NLP Engineer you will embed language‑understanding components that translate free‑form user inputs into structured transaction requests, enabling seamless cross‑system operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a domain‑specific intent classifier using spaCy and Transformers to map natural language queries to billing actions.
• Develop a real‑time text‑to‑API routing layer in Python that calls internal REST endpoints for invoicing, customer lookup, and service provisioning.
• Integrate the NLP pipeline with the existing Node.js middleware, ensuring payload compatibility and low latency (<200 ms).
• Create unit and integration test suites with pytest and Postman to validate end‑to‑end data flow across all three systems.
• Document model versioning and deployment steps in the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of NLP research or production experience.
• Proficiency with Python libraries such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and NLTK.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience deploying models in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to write clean, testable code and maintain CI pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing or CRM data schemas.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering for LLM‑based intent extraction.
