About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted retail applications. As an NLP Engineer you will fortify the conversational interfaces that power the new "SecureChat" module, ensuring data integrity and compliance across multi‑tenant environments.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and refactor existing intent‑recognition pipelines in Python to meet OWASP security standards.
• Implement token‑level masking and encryption for user utterances processed through AWS Lambda.
• Design and deploy a CI/CD workflow using GitHub Actions that runs static analysis and security scans on NLP models.
• Integrate Azure Key Vault for secure storage of API keys and model credentials.
• Collaborate with the DevSecOps team to establish threat‑modeling checkpoints for each model release.
• Produce a security hardening report with remediation timelines for the SecureChat module.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python development for NLP pipelines.
• Experience with transformer models and Hugging Face libraries.
• Proficiency in securing RESTful APIs and cloud functions.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure security services and compliance frameworks.
• Strong debugging skills in JavaScript‑enabled front‑end chat widgets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of differential privacy techniques for language data.
• Prior work on adversarial testing of conversational AI.
