About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a PHP Developer to audit code, reinforce authentication flows, and implement encryption best practices across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of existing PHP/Laravel services
• Patch vulnerabilities and apply secure coding standards
• Integrate input validation, output escaping, and CSRF protections
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce TLS and secret management
• Write automated tests to verify security fixes

Must-have skills

• 5+ years PHP development experience
• Deep knowledge of Laravel framework
• Strong grasp of MySQL performance tuning and secure query practices
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and cloud security concepts

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS security services
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior work on PCI‑DSS or GDPR compliance projects
