About the role

DataPro Services is extending a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant capability. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can design, implement, and fine‑tune the database layer to support isolated tenant data while preserving performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL clusters for multi‑tenant isolation
• Implement automated provisioning of tenant schemas and roles
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Develop backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures for tenant data
• Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and indexing strategies

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of partitioning, sharding, and role‑based access control
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and automation tools
• Strong SQL tuning and query optimization expertise

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database integrations
• Exposure to containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of GDPR and data‑privacy requirements for multi‑tenant SaaS
