About the role

CoreData Systems is enhancing a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant capability. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the database layer that will securely isolate tenant data while maintaining high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL schemas for multi‑tenant isolation
• Optimize queries, indexes, and partitioning for large tenant datasets
• Implement automated backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Collaborate with developers to integrate database changes into CI pipelines
• Monitor performance metrics and resolve latency issues

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of multi‑tenant architecture patterns
• Experience with migration tools and schema versioning
• Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning abilities

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB and MySQL ecosystems
• Exposure to containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of GDPR and data‑privacy compliance for tenant data
