Senior REST API Developer – Domain Modeling

About the role

LumenWorks is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a REST API Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune APIs that integrate seamlessly with our automated pipelines, ensuring each release is faster and more reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document high‑performance RESTful services using NodeJS
• Integrate API endpoints with CI/CD workflows and automated testing suites
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services and streamline deployments
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL for speed and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for security and maintainability

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs in NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration

Nice to have

• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
