About the role

Cascade Apps is modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform. The goal is a zero‑downtime migration to a TypeScript‑centric stack while preserving existing functionality. You will work closely with the core team to refactor services and introduce modern UI components.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite critical modules in TypeScript, ensuring type safety and performance
• Implement new UI features using Angular and React as needed
• Design and execute zero‑downtime deployment strategies
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of TypeScript development experience
• Strong expertise in Angular and React frameworks
• Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems
• Experience with zero‑downtime deployment techniques

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
