About the role

NexGen Media is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the UI overhaul, ensure fast load times, and guarantee seamless user experiences across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue components and refactor for optimal rendering
• Implement lazy‑loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Integrate TypeScript for stronger type safety and maintainability
• Collaborate with backend engineers to streamline API consumption
• Set up automated performance testing and monitor real‑time metrics

Must-have skills

• Proficient in Vue.js (2.x/3.x) and modern JavaScript
• Strong grasp of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience optimizing front‑end performance (Lighthouse, Web Vitals)
• Familiarity with Git workflow and CI pipelines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Vuex or Pinia state management
• Experience with server‑side rendering (Nuxt)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
