As a Translator at LinguaForte, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from website localization and software development to marketing campaigns and technical documentation. You will be responsible for translating content from Spanish to English and vice versa, ensuring that all translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and meet the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of content from Spanish to English and vice versa, including marketing materials, website content, technical documents, and more.
• Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with project managers, editors, and other translators to ensure seamless communication and high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, linguistic developments, and cultural nuances.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that all translations meet our high standards.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time, every time.
• Work closely with our team of editors and proofreaders to review and refine translations.
• Use computer-assisted translation tools and software to improve efficiency and quality.
• Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and support.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Follow company style guides, terminology, and branding guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new language services and solutions.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our language services and processes.

Requirements

• Native speaker of Spanish or English, with excellent language skills in both languages.
• BA/BS degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and complexities in both languages.
• Proficient in computer-assisted translation tools and software, such as Trados, MemoQ, or similar.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal, is a plus.
