About the role

NexGen Media is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a TypeScript Developer to engineer a seamless migration to modern frameworks while guaranteeing zero‑downtime for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor critical modules from legacy code to TypeScript, preserving existing APIs.
• Implement feature toggles and blue‑green deployments to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated testing and monitoring pipelines.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for new components.
• Document migration patterns and hand‑off guides for future teams.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular and React ecosystems.
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment strategies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting.

Nice to have
