About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a critical product line and needs a Vue.js Frontend Developer to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before release. You will work closely with QA and backend teams to embed automated UI tests into the CI pipeline, ensuring stable launches.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test scripts for Vue.js components using Cypress or Playwright
• Integrate automated tests into existing CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with developers to refactor flaky tests and improve coverage
• Document test scenarios and maintain a shared test library
• Provide quick feedback on UI defects during sprint cycles

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in writing automated UI tests (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript in a Vue environment
• Familiarity with performance testing for frontends
• Background in test‑driven development practices
