Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive web research to gather data on market trends, competitors, and customer behavior.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain databases to store and manage data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web research tools, techniques, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our research methodologies.
- Prepare and present reports, summaries, and analysis to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with web research, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and approaches for web research and marketing strategies.
- Provide training and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, facilitating collaboration and data exchange.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of web research methods and tools, recommending improvements and optimizations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends and developments.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex research challenges and data quality issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in web research, market analysis, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with web research tools, such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz, and familiarity with SEO principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive and adaptable attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, and commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.
- Certifications in data analysis, marketing, or a related field are a plus.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp, is desirable.
