About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching an integration project to unify billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can design, implement, and maintain the data layer that connects these systems securely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and tune PostgreSQL clusters for high‑availability across integration points
• Develop migration scripts and ETL processes linking billing, CRM, and API data stores
• Implement robust backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions
• Collaborate with dev teams to optimize query performance and schema design
• Document procedures and provide knowledge transfer to internal staff

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Strong SQL performance tuning and indexing expertise
• Experience with data replication, sharding, and failover setups
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
• Understanding of RESTful API data flows and integration patterns

Nice to have

• Hands‑on with MongoDB or MySQL for hybrid data solutions
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database changes
