Terraform Engineer for Release Pipeline Hardening

About the role

We are gearing up for a major app store launch and need a Terraform Engineer to ensure our mobile and backend infrastructure are perfectly aligned. You will translate architecture plans into reusable, version‑controlled Terraform code, supporting rapid feature roll‑outs and stable environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform modules for AWS services supporting mobile APIs
• Collaborate with backend developers to map service dependencies and networking
• Maintain state files, workspaces, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Conduct code reviews and enforce IaC best practices across the team
• Monitor infrastructure drift and apply corrective actions promptly

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Terraform on AWS
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to write clear, modular HCL code
• Familiarity with version control and automated testing of IaC

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda)
• Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS)
• Exposure to monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
