About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a major app store release that requires tight mobile and backend integration. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the cloud environment that powers the new mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable AWS services (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway) aligned with mobile app needs
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for backend code and mobile build artifacts
• Implement secure networking, IAM policies, and monitoring for production readiness
• Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure API performance and latency targets
• Document infrastructure as code and handover procedures

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration
• Solid DevOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and logging
• Linux system administration and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend patterns (push notifications, real‑time sync)
• Familiarity with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile APIs
