About the role

LumenWorks is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement project for operations teams. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, build, and automate end‑to‑end delivery pipelines that support rapid data processing and insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect CI/CD workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting services
• Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation on AWS
• Containerize data services with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure pipeline reliability

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for data‑centric workloads
• Strong grasp of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Automation scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of version control, CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with data streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Knowledge of security best practices in pipeline design
