About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is enhancing its release pipeline with automated security testing. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and integrate test automation that lowers regression risk before each launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts to automate vulnerability scans in CI pipelines
• Configure Linux‑based test environments and ensure reproducibility
• Analyze scan results, prioritize findings, and work with developers to remediate
• Document automated test cases and maintain security test libraries
• Provide concise risk reports for each release cycle

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of security testing methodologies
• Proficiency in Python for scripting automation
• Hands‑on experience with Linux security tools (e.g., OpenSCAP, Nessus)
• Ability to interpret vulnerability data and recommend fixes

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of container security scanning
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks
