About the role
NexGen Media is launching a new product and needs a DevOps Engineer to lead a test automation uplift. This project-based effort aims to reduce regression risk before launch by improving CI pipelines and automated test coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Containerize test suites with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes
- Integrate AWS services for scalable test environments
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test criteria
- Monitor pipeline health and optimize performance
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for test orchestration
- Hands‑on AWS experience, especially EC2, S3, and CodePipeline
- Solid scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with performance testing tools
- Background in security testing integration
