About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new microservice‑driven platform and needs a Java Developer to design, implement, and integrate core backend components. This project‑based role focuses on building scalable services that power key business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, production‑ready Java code using Spring Boot
• Design, implement, and maintain microservices architecture
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product and DevOps teams for seamless deployments
• Document APIs and technical decisions

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in building and deploying microservices
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Background in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
