About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. You will design and implement the core Java services that power the platform, ensuring scalability and clean architecture from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop microservice APIs using Spring Boot
• Implement robust data models and integrate with cloud databases
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests for all new features
• Collaborate with product and UI teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Set up CI pipelines and monitor service health in production

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices
• Experience building cloud‑native services
• Good grasp of version control (Git) and automated testing

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or Docker containerization experience
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
