About the role

CoreData Systems is modernizing its data platform by adopting a cloud‑native microservices strategy. As a Microservices Architect you will design, build, and guide the implementation of scalable services that power critical business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall microservices architecture, including service boundaries, communication patterns, and data management.
• Design RESTful APIs and event‑driven interfaces using industry best practices.
• Create reference implementations with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment automation.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates for code, testing, and security.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document architectural decisions, standards, and guidelines for future teams.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in designing and implementing microservices at scale.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Extensive experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design, gRPC, and event‑driven messaging.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with reactive programming models.
• Experience with monitoring and tracing tools such as Prometheus and Jaeger.
