About the role

CoreData Systems is scaling its flagship B2B SaaS platform and needs a Microservices Architect to lead the design and delivery of a new multi‑tenant feature set. You will own the end‑to‑end architecture, ensuring isolation, security, and performance across tenants while integrating with existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design a tenant‑aware microservice framework using Spring Boot and Java 21.
• Define API contracts and versioning strategy for the new "TenantPulse" module.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Set up service mesh (Istio) for traffic routing and observability across tenants.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning for multi‑tenant workloads.
• Collaborate with product owners to deliver MVP milestones within 8‑week sprints.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in microservices design patterns and domain‑driven design.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring ecosystem) and RESTful API development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of service mesh, API gateways, and security best practices.
• Track record of delivering scalable, multi‑tenant architectures.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
