About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a new app store launch and needs a Node.js Developer to bridge mobile front‑ends with backend services. You will ensure smooth data flow, low latency, and reliable endpoints for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs that serve mobile clients
• Integrate authentication and real‑time sync features
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to align data contracts
• Write unit and integration tests for critical paths
• Optimize performance and monitor API health

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js experience with Express framework
• Proficient JavaScript (ES6+)
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile‑backend interaction patterns

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless deployments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Node.js
• Knowledge of cloud databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Firestore)
