About the role

BrightMart Solutions is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for its upcoming app store release. We need a Node.js Developer who can bridge the API layer with mobile front‑ends, ensuring smooth data flow and rapid iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services that power the new mobile app
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API contracts and error handling
• Optimize database queries and caching for low‑latency responses
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions

Must-have skills

• Proficiency with Node.js and Express framework
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async programming
• Experience building and documenting REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile‑backend integration patterns
• Ability to work independently in a part‑time schedule

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Node.js projects
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP) for deployment
• Experience with TypeScript
