About the role
Orbit Labs is preparing a major app store release that requires tight coordination between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a PHP Developer to shape the server side, ensure API stability, and align data flows with upcoming iOS/Android builds.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that power mobile features
- Integrate third‑party services and payment gateways
- Optimize database queries for low latency on high‑traffic launches
- Collaborate with mobile engineers to define contract‑first endpoints
- Write unit and integration tests to guarantee release‑ready quality
Must-have skills
- Strong PHP experience (3+ years)
- Proficiency with Laravel framework
- Solid MySQL schema design and query optimization
- Understanding of mobile‑backend synchronization patterns
Nice to have
- Experience with Redis or caching layers
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for PHP projects
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication
