About the role

DataPro Services is looking for a Python Backend Developer to build and enhance a high‑performance data processing platform. You will work on a focused project to design RESTful services that support real‑time analytics for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python micro‑services.
• Implement robust PostgreSQL schemas and optimize queries.
• Create and document REST API endpoints adhering to best practices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with front‑end and data engineering teams to integrate APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) and asynchronous programming.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL database design and tuning.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
