About the role
AlphaEdge Tech is building the Streamline Insight module to empower operations teams with real‑time data pipelines and analytics. As a QA Automation Engineer you will design and execute automated test suites that guarantee data integrity and performance across the end‑to‑end workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Selenium‑based test scripts in JavaScript for the Streamline Insight ETL pipelines.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Validate data transformations and schema compliance with custom API validators.
- Collaborate with data engineers to create performance benchmarks and monitor test flakiness.
- Produce detailed defect reports and track resolution in JIRA.
- Deliver a test‑automation dashboard by the end of the 6‑week sprint.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and API testing.
- Hands‑on with test frameworks like Mocha or Jest.
- Excellent debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as Locust.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) for test environments.
