About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a unified billing‑CRM bridge called "WaveSync" to streamline invoicing, customer data, and internal service calls. As a Blockchain Engineer you will design and deploy smart‑contract components that securely mediate data exchange between the billing platform, CRM, and our proprietary APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a Solidity smart‑contract layer that validates billing events before they reach the CRM.
• Integrate Web3.js and ethers.js with existing Node.js microservices for real‑time state syncing.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Hardhat and GitHub Actions to deploy contracts to a private Ethereum testnet.
• Write unit and integration tests with Mocha/Chai covering at least 90% of contract logic.
• Collaborate with the backend team to expose REST endpoints that trigger contract functions securely.
• Document the contract API, data schemas, and versioning strategy for future audits.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Solidity and smart‑contract lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for scripting and API glue.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Ethereum tooling (Hardhat, Truffle, ethers.js).
• Ability to write comprehensive automated tests and CI pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with layer‑2 scaling solutions (e.g., Optimism, Arbitrum).
• Background in financial compliance or audit processes for blockchain systems.
