About the role

Pinecrest Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls while ensuring high availability and fast response times.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing service architectures for security gaps and performance bottlenecks
• Design and implement hardening measures that do not degrade latency
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated security testing into CI pipelines
• Monitor real‑time metrics and respond to incidents during the overhaul
• Document findings and provide actionable recommendations for long‑term resilience

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting for automation
• Deep familiarity with Linux hardening and monitoring tools
• Ability to translate security findings into performance‑friendly solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) security
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Previous work on service reliability engineering
