About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a high‑velocity CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. As a Data Scientist you will embed predictive models into the RapidRelease Engine, enabling smarter roll‑out decisions and automated quality gates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and train anomaly‑detection models using Python and scikit‑learn to flag risky deployments in real time.
• Integrate model inference into Jenkins pipelines via REST API calls.
• Develop data pipelines in PostgreSQL to aggregate build metrics, test coverage, and performance logs.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed feature‑flag analytics into the automation workflow.
• Produce dashboards in Tableau that visualize release health and model confidence scores.
• Validate model drift weekly and retrain using CI‑triggered data snapshots.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming and machine‑learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong SQL expertise with PostgreSQL for large‑scale data extraction.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Ability to translate business requirements into statistical models.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Background in A/B testing and causal inference.
