About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted iOS applications. We need an experienced iOS App Developer to reinforce security controls, audit code, and implement best‑practice protections. This project‑based role focuses on safeguarding data in transit and at rest.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security code reviews and threat modeling for existing iOS codebase
• Integrate encryption, certificate pinning, and secure storage mechanisms
• Update networking layer to enforce TLS 1.3 and robust authentication
• Collaborate with backend teams to align API security standards
• Document security enhancements and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• 5+ years iOS development with Swift
• Deep understanding of iOS security frameworks and App Store guidelines
• Experience securing REST API communication
• Proficiency in threat modeling and vulnerability mitigation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) security services
• Experience with automated security testing tools
