About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. The project focuses on refactoring core services, introducing containerization, and migrating to a micro‑service architecture while guaranteeing zero‑downtime deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite critical PHP modules using Laravel best practices
• Design and implement database schema changes in MySQL with zero‑impact migrations
• Set up CI/CD pipelines to support blue‑green releases
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services and manage orchestration
• Write automated tests and ensure high code coverage

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of PHP development experience
• Deep knowledge of Laravel framework
• Proficiency with MySQL performance tuning
• Experience delivering zero‑downtime releases

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Background in legacy system migration
• Understanding of event‑driven architectures
