Senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer Needed for Container Platform Build

About the role

Cascade Apps is expanding its B2B platform with a new multi-tenant capability called "Nebula Hub". We need a Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and validate the infrastructure that will support isolated tenant environments while maintaining strict security and cost controls.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS VPC, subnet, and security group layouts for tenant isolation using Terraform 1.5.
• Build reusable Terraform modules for IAM roles, S3 bucket policies, and RDS provisioning tailored to each tenant.
• Integrate Terraform pipelines with GitHub Actions to enable automated plan‑apply cycles for each release sprint.
• Implement Terraform Sentinel policies to enforce tagging, encryption, and cost‑center compliance.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to containerize micro‑services with Docker and deploy them via ECS Fargate for each tenant.
• Conduct performance testing and cost‑analysis for the multi‑tenant rollout, delivering a final report by week six.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on Terraform experience in AWS environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, and managed services.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
• Experience with Docker containerization and ECS/Fargate deployments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Sentinel policy as code.
• Exposure to multi‑tenant SaaS architectures.
