About the role

Northbay Systems is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the UI overhaul, ensuring fast load times and seamless user experiences across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Vue components for optimal rendering speed
• Implement lazy‑loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee stability under load
• Conduct performance audits and provide actionable recommendations

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of frontend development with Vue.js
• Strong grasp of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience optimizing SPA performance and handling large data sets
• Proficiency with Vuex, Vue Router, and modern build tools
• Ability to produce clean, maintainable code and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Webpack or Vite advanced configurations
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
