About the role

Pinecrest Systems seeks a Part-time Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead a test automation uplift aimed at lowering regression risk before product launches. You will collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to embed automated UI checks into the CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Vue.js components that integrate with existing test suites
• Write reusable test scripts using Cypress or Playwright
• Optimize test coverage for critical user flows
• Document automation patterns and share knowledge across squads
• Monitor test results and troubleshoot flaky failures

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Hands‑on experience with UI test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jest or Mocha testing libraries
• Exposure to cloud‑based testing platforms
• Basic knowledge of backend APIs (REST/GraphQL)
