AWS Cloud Engineer – End-to-End DevOps Automation

About the role

Harbor Softworks is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and tune the cloud infrastructure that powers these critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current AWS environment and identify bottlenecks
• Build scalable, fault‑tolerant architectures using EC2, RDS, and Lambda
• Automate provisioning and configuration with IaC tools
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost‑optimization strategies
• Collaborate with developers to embed reliability best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services
• Proficiency in Docker containerization
• Solid DevOps mindset and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
• Linux system administration expertise

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with serverless patterns
• Background in performance testing and tuning
