About the role
Silverline Labs is preparing a major app store launch and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to ensure the mobile backend aligns with release goals. You will work closely with mobile developers to provision, secure, and optimize cloud resources that power the new app.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure for mobile APIs
- Automate deployment pipelines using Docker and CI/CD tools
- Monitor performance and cost, tuning services for peak launch traffic
- Collaborate with the mobile team to integrate backend services and troubleshoot issues
- Document architecture decisions and operational runbooks
Must-have skills
- Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
- Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration
- Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD pipeline creation
- Linux system administration and scripting
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
