About the role
NovaForge Tech is launching a brand‑new SaaS product built for a remote‑first team. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and implement the security foundation from day one, ensuring compliance, threat detection, and secure code practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Define security policies and controls for the greenfield SaaS platform
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new features
- Integrate automated security testing into CI pipelines
- Monitor cloud and container environments for anomalies
- Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities quickly
Must-have skills
- Hands‑on experience with security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
- Strong scripting in Python for automation and analysis
- Deep understanding of Linux hardening and access controls
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS/GCP)
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP
- Experience with DevSecOps frameworks
- Familiarity with zero‑trust network architecture
