About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and embed security controls from day one, ensuring the platform is resilient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Define threat models and risk assessments for the new product architecture
• Implement security monitoring, logging, and incident response playbooks
• Conduct code reviews focusing on secure coding practices in Python
• Collaborate with DevOps to harden Linux containers and CI pipelines
• Provide security training and guidance to cross‑functional developers

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with security assessments for SaaS applications
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and analysis
• Deep knowledge of Linux hardening and system security
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP
• Experience with zero‑trust network design
• Knowledge of container security tools (e.g., Falco, Trivy)
