About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a critical integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls throughout the data flows and ensure compliance across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling for the integration pipeline
• Design and implement API authentication and encryption standards
• Review and harden Linux‑based services handling financial data
• Develop Python scripts for automated security testing and log analysis
• Collaborate with developers to remediate identified vulnerabilities

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing API integrations
• Proficiency in Python for security automation
• Strong knowledge of Linux security hardening
• Familiarity with industry standards such as OWASP and NIST

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM tools and incident response
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices
