About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across AWS and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for SaaS workloads.
• Develop and enforce security baselines for container orchestration and serverless functions.
• Automate vulnerability scanning and remediation pipelines using Python scripts.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST).
• Hands‑on experience with security tooling (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Trivy).
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Solid Linux administration and hardening expertise.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with IaC security checks (Terraform, CloudFormation).
